Educator Workshops

A growing body of research done by Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence along with Collaborative for Social-Emotional and Academic Learning found that the five most common feelings shared among 5000 teachers were: anxious, fearful, worried, overwhelmed, and sad.

Our teachers carry double responsibility, from their life demands to teaching and meeting the expected curriculum for the grade that they teach. Additionally, they also have to deal with anxiety-induced emotions during testing time.

If our educators burn out, how can they successfully perform the most important job for our kids?

Mindful Monkeys equips teachers with techniques to incorporate mindfulness practices into their everyday routines at home and in the classroom.  During this workshop, they will learn to center themselves to access the executive function of their brain and remain calm throughout the day.
